Hui-Ā-Tau 2026

This year’s hui will be held at:

Location: Trinity Wharf Tauranga 
Date: Saturday 11th April
Time: Registration opens at 8:30am

Our annual hui is an opportunity to come together as a roopū — to share knowledge, uplift one another, and continue advancing with our vision of hei oranga niho mo to iwi Māori.

This year we are offering two pre-hui workshops, running concurrently on Friday 10th April.

Attendees may select one workshop only, as both sessions take place at the same time.
Please note that workshop spaces are limited capacity, and registrations will close once each workshop reaches its maximum number.

Workshops:
• Oral Pathology Screening Workshop – 9am – 3pm, Location: Trinity pool house 1-3
This screening workshop with Professor Haizal Mohd Hussaini will focus on the identification and assessment of oral lesions, with particular emphasis on pre-malignant and malignant lesion screening.

• Ake Business Advisors Workshop – 9am – 12pm, Location: Trinity room 3  
Join Ake Business Advisors for a tailored workshop designed specifically for Māori oral health providers and those interested in Māori oral health business ownership.
